Photo lovers: Join artists Sally Buck and Kent Lins to start your gallery hopping day with a hot tea and snack. Photographers and avid photography eyeballers, Buck and Lins visit the many shows, events, and public projects across Vancouver—they’re eager to share their discoveries and hear about other peoples’ photo-based art adventures.
Helpful ideas, maps, a hot sheet, tea, and snack will be complimentary.
Want ideas on your Saturday Art walk? Tips on cracking the festival experience? Curious art explorers, let’s talk and munch. Buck and Lins are avid attendees of the arts, have launched the roaming art gallery VanGalleries, and have created an internationally exhibited photo project about people viewing art. They love photography and want to hear what you’re looking at this April!
Buck and Lins are grateful to work and learn on the unceded and occupied territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.
